- A pine framed 3' single bed and matching single sized trundle which slides underneath. These two beds came from John Lewis, around 18 years ago, when they cost over £1000, which indicated the quality. The trundle slides underneath the 'main' bed and is very easily pulled out. It can be left with the sheet and duvet in place ready for immediate use when required - great for sleepovers if you have children! The trundle can be left with the legs folded, so that it is close to the floor and ideal for small children, or you can quickly and easily drop the legs which will then give you 2 single beds, or a king sized bed when they are pushed together. The beds have good mattresses and if you would like them I will also include one thick IKEA mattress topper, which has a removable and washable cover, and two mattress protectors. I am actually really sorry to get rid of these beds, but they have been so rarely used that we have converted our guest bedroom to a much more useful study/second sitting room, with a sofa bed. We have new furniture arriving on Monday 27th May, so these beds MUST be collected by Sunday 26th, at the very latest. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST THE BEDS IF YOU CANNOT COLLECT WITHIN THIS TIMEFRAME. Preference will be given to whoever can collect soonest. The main bed is fairly heavy, so you will need to have someone with you to help with collection. My husband is awaiting spinal surgery, but can help with the mattresses, mattress topper and the trundle frame, if required. We cannot deliver as we only have a small car. You will need a large car, or van, or we are happy for you to arrange a courier collection. We are in a ground floor flat in the centre of Edgware. Parking is available on the street. We are just off the A5 and around 1 mile from the M1.
