I am giving away this silver WOMEN’s Armitron waterproof sports watch. It was purchased a few years ago and has only been worn a few times. It is in EXCELLENT condition. 😁👌
A couple of days ago I picked it up while it was still working, and the battery went flat that very day. Currently Mister Mint is charging $32 to replace the battery the standard way, and $73 to replace the battery in a way that would retain the watch’s waterproof abilities. (The gasket requires pressure testing or something like that.)
I bought this watch for roughly $40 on Amazon, so I have decided to simply buy a new watch instead. If anyone feels skilled enough to change the battery themselves, they will save a lot of money. I watched a YouTube video - but alas - still was not up to the task! 🥴😜
