Request: Garden Tiller (ANY size) (Jefferson Parish) 1d - Hey Gang, I'm looking for a garden tiller (any size is fine). I'm trying to put in a fairly large vegetable garden for my wife and found out the hard way that apparently I'm not 20 years old anymore. I tweaked (I hope it's only tweaked) my knee fairly badly using the shovel, hoe and spade in heavy clay soil and agreed to my wife that I won't be doing that again. However, since I still have to finish the garden, I decided a tiller is the way to go, but after looking at the price for even a small one, I decided to put up a posting, esp. since I'll likely be doing this year after year (this is the first ground break). So, if you happen to have a tiller that you don't have any plans for or bought and then never really used? Something that's collecting dust in a corner somewhere, please, by all means, drop me a line. I'll be very happy to take it off your hands. Request: various items (Moss Point) 57d - I am in need of canning jars and/or rings and lids, a pressure canner, sure jel and any other canning stuff or fruits and vegetables to can, fruit trees, gardening stuff, seeds, plant starts, cuttings, lumber to help me build a shed and fix my roof, shelves and brackets, 3x women's clothes and size 8 1/2 shoes, a working fridge and deep freezer because my refrigerator freezes my salads etc, even though I have the dial turned down and my deep freezer broke, a big crock pot, a stand mixer, and mylar and/or food saver type bags. I also need a riding lawn mower that works or a self-propelled push mower and someone that can cut oak trees back so they don't keep dropping pieces of limbs on the roof making it leak. I need someone to help me fix the roof where that has happened already and making it leak, too. Also needing someone to help me troubleshoot what's wrong with my car keeping it from running. I'm on a very tiny limited income and my bills take everything so I can't afford to buy these things. Osmocote (Jefferson Parish) 69d - Hey Gang, I've recently been put in charge of several houseplants where I live because everyone else has a black thumb. Which is fine, but the previous owners didn't realize they need fertilizer. To that end, I'm looking for any available plant fertilizer anyone out there might have and not need, though not unrefined sources please (no composted garbage, bar guano or rabbit poop for example). I'm especially looking for any general purpose fertilizer. Osmocote or plant spikes usually do pretty well for most houseplants, but I'm not picky, I just don't have the extra money to go and buy my own. My old HP Envy bit the dust Free: infant organic Holle grain cereal (treme-lafitte) 87d - i have several unopened/sealed boxes of high quality German infant grain cereal: millet, oat and rice. they have expired october 2023 - january 2024. (german date indicators go day-month-year) i would still use them, but my infant is now a toddler eating solids and i need the space in my cupboard.
