Classics of World Literature (Tribeca)

Another Grandpa Giacomo exclusive.. World Literary Masterpieces in a lovely set of 9 volumes, in beautiful bindings... with the good translations. Sorry I never got a chance to know what he was reading all along. There's one here called the Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini, a fellow Italian. And the Russians are represented by The Brothers Karamazov. And of course, Dickens' David Copperfield, Swift's Gulliver, Scott's Ivanhoe and Victor Hugo's Hunchback! Sorry to say Giacomo hadn't experienced the magnificent Latin American writers. But they only appeared in English much later...
