How do I change my email address?
On your Profile page, you can add or remove email addresses and select the primary email address that you want all emails from the site to be sent to.
When you add a new email address, you will have to verify that you own the new email address by clicking on a link in a verification email that will be sent to that address.
How do I disable daily digests?
On the Email Alerts & Daily Digest tab of your Profile page, you can uncheck the "Receive daily digests?" checkbox and then click the button labelled "Change" to stop daily digests from being sent to you.
How do I stop all the freecycle emails?
If you're receiving emails from Yahoo Groups (and 99% of people who ask this question are), you should switch to trash nothing! to use your existing freecycle groups so that you won't be flooded with emails. Just sign up, add your local groups and unsubscribe from your groups on Yahoo Groups.
Alternatively, if you've decided you want to give up on the whole reuse and free stuff idea, you can just unsubscribe from your groups on Yahoo Groups
For the 1% who aren't receiving emails from Yahoo Groups, you can change your email preferences on the Email Alerts & Daily Digest tab of your Profile page.
How do I turn off email alerts?
On the Email Alerts & Daily Digest tab of your Profile page, you can view all the active email alerts you have setup. Clicking the red circle icon to the right of an email alert will remove that email alert.
I stopped receiving the daily digest emails, what happened?
Check that the option to receive daily digest emails is selected on your Profile page.
If daily digests are still enabled, then it's likely that your email provider's spam filter is catching the emails. To bypass the spam filter, add firstname.lastname@example.org to your Contacts list.
