Italian Arum Showy ground cover in winter (South Croydon CR2)

Arum italicum 'Pictum' or Arum italicum marmoratum

A tuberous perennial to 35cm, with large, arrow-shaped dark, glossy green leaves veined creamy-white, appearing in autumn. Large greenish-yellow spathes with a yellow spadix are followed by showy spikes of orange-red berries

These variegated leaves have just appeared, the berries show in late summer.

Lights up shady areas in the winter.

Don't be shy, I have plenty.
