cast iron skillet
I have a 12" cast iron skillet from the Wagners 1891 collection. It has been on a kitchen equipement shelf out in the garage for a while and like all cast iron it needs to a be washed well and seasoned with some oil. It is not rusty, at all. I have a lot of cast iron and I use it everyday but I have too many. I have two 12" skillets and only need one. This skillet will be around to hand down to your descendants. I have been using mine for more decades than I am going to tell you. Learn to use it correctly and you will enjoy it a lot. It is also a good one to use on a campfire. But, I use mine everyday on the stove.
