This recorder is clean and in good shape physically, only it makes smoke, not music. So you will want it for the parts to repair the TC-56 you already own.
I opened it up, took a look around inside and declared it not worth the trouble to either repair or re-assemble, which is why it comes with a small bag of tiny screws. And also a wall-wart power supply, so you can experience the smoke for yourself. The service manual is available from a number of online sources.
