Kalanchoe cuttings (a resilient fuzzy houseplant) (Hearthstone DE4)

I've had some fuzzy houseplants for many years, and every time a leaf drops onto another plant's soil it tries to grow. And if you neglect them they grow roots from the stem, which makes them easy to grow as cuttings too. As a result I have loads of rooted seedlings, if anyone wants one/some.

I think they are a variety of Kalanchoe. Watered and cared for they make a dense succulent with leaves that are almost grey with a soft furry surface. A very similar variety is known as the panda plant.

You might just want a new plant for your home. Or you can breed an army of them to give to friends or sell at a school fair or car boot sale. They really are easy to care for. So you can relax in the knowledge that they are almost impossible to kill. You can forget to water them for months and whilst they'll get a bit leggy, they'll still keep the top few leaves alive, and if they start to look unattractive you can snip off any stalk with a living leaf, stick it in some soil and start over.

Available for collection from Riber, Matlock.
