pop-up garden bin, needs repair (Cambuskenneth FK9)

Pop-up garden bin. The wire frame has come out at the bottom and my attempts at a repair with duct tape failed - see pic. Otherwise it's fine, so if anyone can do a better repair job and make use of it, they're welcome!
