2-slice toaster, one side at a time (High Wych CM21)

My mother-in-law's toaster is an Asda brand 2-slice toaster, but you have to flip the bread around as it only toasts one side at a time, due to age. Working with this flaw for over a year. Not ideal, but maybe could help someone? It may continue to work like this for some time.
