Blackout blind not very effective (Nash Mills WD4)

Will be taking this to the tip this week, sadly, if it is not wanted by anyone.
Pleated blind bought as a blackout blind, but it lets light in around the side and through the runner holes. we have used it with a curtain for around 10 years, but now we have taken the curtain down, it really doesn't work for our east facing velux.
it will need a good dust, and you might be able to clean it, but it is made of a papery sort of cloth.will definitely need re-stringing, which might be tricky. About 1 metre square- slightly smaller. would be useful to have behind a curtain.
Please only ask for this if you have a plan for it- it will need a bit of work.
fittings have unfortunately been thrown away as part of a tidy up so it will need to be screwed into the window frame directly, rather than the brackets being screwed into the frame.
this will go in the bin this week if no-one can make use of it.
