*Widows tears (or spiderwort) knee-high strappy foliage, with fuchsia blooms in late May.
*Gooseneck loosestrife--nodding conical white blooms give it its name. Blooms in July.
Likes Shade or Mixed Shade:
* Lily-of-the-Valley—old-fashioned with tiny bell-shaped fragrant blossoms, nice near a door or window.
