The unit weighs 83 lbs. It's "light" enough for most people to lift it slightly off the ground (using the handles) while moving it around in a house, but you'll need a certain amount of strength to get it into a car, especially if the opening is high (e.g., a trunk) or irregular (e.g., most passenger doors).
