Pfaff Overlocker Machine-Not working (Newhaven EH6)

This sat for several years and when recently tried there was a smell of oil and the engine whirring and needles working sporadically. I know it would cost around £90 to have it repaired at the sewing machine place at the west end. I'll not use it...so maybe someone wants to tinker with it or invest. Its a very solid well built machine.
