Bound Brook looking for a/c (Bound Brook New Jersey)

Hi. I am in Bound Brook, and I am willing to travel. Looking for an air conditioner, that works. My son had one in his room, but it did not seem to be making the room cold, I thought maybe it was out of freon. Anyway, he's been sleeping on the floor in my bedroom to stay cool. I feel bad, I can't afford a brand new one. My husband lost his job and I'm the only one working. I know what it's like to sleep in hot sticky heat without a/c and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. So, if you are looking to get rid of one, please let me know.
