If you are having yours removed please don't chop them up and take them to the tip as they can to be recycled. My elderly neighbours fence has collapsed and I think I can fix it at minimal cost if I can use old decking planks that are more than 6ft long. I need quite a few and there must be hundreds that get thrown away by landscape gardeners etc.
I can come and pick them up immediately at your convenience as I am retired and I won't let you down!
