We are remodelling our bathroom and our bath is being replaced with a walk-in shower.
The bath is five years old. It is a premium quality reinforced bath, which gives it greater rigidity and it has a thicker acrylic layer which makes it warmer. The dimensions are 1700mm x700mm (170cmx70cm)
It is in excellent condition. lt has lost a little of its ‘shine’, but there are no cracks or stains on it and I think a really thorough clean will bring the shine back.
No-one has ever used the bath as a bath - it has only ever been used to take showers. Above it is a full length L shaped shower curtain rail and 3 white nylon shower curtains, which when closed create a completely enclosed space.
We fitted a replacement toilet less than 2 months ago as ours developed a hairline crack and leaked. Because we knew our fitters were starting work in July we bought the cheapest close-coupled one from B&Q, but actually, it looks quite good. The seat that was supplied was one of those thin, flexible plastic ones that you can pick up very cheaply so you may want to change it for a better quality one, but it is very clean and does the job.
Our bathroom fitters will remove these items next week - probably Tuesday or Wednesday, and they will then be placed outside.
If you can use any of these items - the bath, the toilet, the curtain rail or the three curtains, please let me know. I would really like someone to use them - they are far too good to go to the tip.
