This pair of chairs is upholstered in a tweedy brown/gray fabric; the backs are covered in a pleather / leather-like material with a brass trim.
One of the chairs is in pretty good shape, with just a few of the brass trim pieces missing. The other is a bit more worn, with two places on the arm and seat where the upholstery is ripped, and larger sections of the trim are missing. See photos.
The chairs are solid and comfortable, and a little TLC or a new seat cover and some trim.
I got these chairs from Craigslist a couple of years ago so can't speak to their past lives, but they have been in a smoke-free house with cats for two years.
