DVD player connects via hdmi cable (SY16 Newtown)

A gentleman very kindly offered me a dvd player when I previously posted, but as he explained to me, it connected via a scart cable which my screen doesn't have a fitting for. I therefore need a dvd player that connects via a hdmi cable if anyone had one going spare it would be much appreciated (all this technical stuff is a bit beyond me!). Many thanks.
