I'm cleaning up my way-too-big tea collection and have several boxes of older tea bags or loose tea (some boxes are open but all bags are sealed). I'm planning to throw them away but thought someone might want them. Some are 2 years past the best by date (Numi, Yogi Raspberry Leaf, ~5 years past the best by date (Premium Chai, Garcinia Cambogia, Throat Coat, taeq herbal tea), and some have no date at all (Russian black tea, green tea, Native American herbal teas). Please see the pictures. According to Google, teas don't really go bad and are usually good about 2 years past the "best by" date if stored properly has been true in my experience. Even older teas usually brew a weaker cup.
