Brass and iron, extremely heavy. In use until last house move, but now no room. Very dusty. Rust is superficial. Two old-fashioned bars. Original coal effect missing, but one has been improvised from another fire in a way that is pretty effective but could certainly be improved with a bit of ingenuity. Needs a large fireplace. Sorry to be parting with it!
