Works usually ... but not always. Sometimes it won't turn on, while other times it goes on just fine but then turns itself off unpredictably. Most of the time it behaves properly, going on and off when you turn the knob on the side. Another issue: the on-off knob falls off easily, but also pops back on easily. Lamp is black with gold accents. Includes working halogen bulb. Some dust and minor scratches from use, but looks pretty good overall.
