Plastic protectors for plants (HR2)

Hello fellow freeglers,
We have just received a consignment of small lavender plants for a hedge. The 9cm pots of lavender were delivered in plastic potted plant protectors. Each pack takes three 9cm potted plants. We have 23 packs and feel it is such a waste to send these for recycling. Could someone reuse them? They protect the tender plant when you send it by post and help to keep the soil moist. If anybody out there does small plant deliveries, then these would be very useful.
