Yes I know it's rusty, that's why I got a new one. It's a motion activated light has never failed, works good. Set the distance, set the time want to stay on. Or dusk to dawn at night. Motion activation works perfectly. A little sanding and some black spray paint. Just don't spray the glass for the motion activation. Even has instructions from the new lamp I put on cuz I used the same one
