old Singer sewing machine (Columbia City-ish)

Model 503A. It has cams to make various stitches. It works, but has a problem. Every so often, from 6 inches to 2 yards of sewing, it binds up. I don't know if it's a bobbin problem or what, but I usually have to cut all the threads and start again. I had enough and got another used machine.
