A Queen bed I obtained from the recycle/reuse groups like this one. because of the size of the posts in relation to the headboard, it is possible this would look right with a double mattress as well, however, I’ve never tried it. No box spring is needed due to hieght. I sanded and painted it and added additional slats for strength. It’s been great but it’s time to move on. This needs to be taken by Wednesday in preparation for a new unit Thursday. Frame only. If you don’t want it scratched, bring blankets and a large vehicle.
