In 2015 my dad bought this for my mom (she’ll be 82 soon) to put in the bathroom closet so she wouldn’t risk traveling to the basement to do laundry. About $1400.00.
This is condensing unit. It does not have a vent. It does SMALL loads and takes a long time.
It only needs a regular outlet, water and drain. No vent.
My mom hates it and still would go down to the basement. I’ll bet it was used maybe 10 times.
I’m replacing it with a vented stacked unit like the one in the basement. I don’t want her using those steps.
