I need at least 50, but preferably 75 of the hollow bricks, The ones with the air gap right through them, to complete a home made heat sink. Need to be new or clean condition as they are going in my lounge.
They are being stacked on the hearth, either side of the open fire to absorb some of the radiated heat when the fire is lit. They stay warm for hours after the fire has gone out and the holes allow a large surface contact area to warm the air. Lounge is still warm in the morning, so my wood supply lasts longer.
