May or may not need repairs. Stopped producing adequate heat, but after disassembly, it turned out that the exhaust vent was completely clogged, so the problem may not have been the dryer at all. It is an older model, and I am switching to an electric dryer. If it ends up being defective, it could be used for scrap metal.
