Requesting a watertight aquarium of at least 30 gallons. Not to be picky but this is for an aquatic turtle so it cannot be a tall tank but rather the standard aquarium shape.
We have two turtles and we got them when they were tiny. When they were old enough, we were able to determine they are both male. One is much more aggressive than the other so we had to devise a makeshift divider for the tank. This worked well for a couple of years but now the aggressive one chomps down on the feet of the other one if he dares to put them between the divider. So we had to move one to a different tank which is WAY too small for his size.
Elmhurst, Villa Park, Lombard area preferred but will go further for a larger tank.
Thank you for your consideration of this request. We had no idea when we got these cute little turtles that they would get as big as they have AND that they can live more than 30 years!!! They are about 7 years old now.
