Upcycle sewing project materials (Tramway Blvd/ Paseo)

Offering: denim, tent material and other misc fabrics for Upcycle purposes

To submit your interest for consideration please be sure to:
- state what you want (all, or any individual item)
- state your availability for pickup, I’d like to avoid back-and-forth logistics planning and will first interact with folks who say roughly when they could come for pickup.

Please understand that after one (1) no-show I’ll move on to the next taker or to a thrift-store donation. I want to gift locally in the free economy to folks who can use this stuff but don’t have a lot of time or bandwidth to deal with complicated logistics.

Kindness and good-natured interaction is appreciated and acknowledged … when giving away beloved personal treasures it’s nice to know it’s going somewhere it will be gratefully accepted and used 🥰

Please comment on what you want and when.

- good quality jeans and other cotton pants
- tent rain fly that is weathered and torn in parts but still plenty of good material to make a smaller sunshade, patch your own tent, make a wind breaker, etc.
- fairly durable plastic material that was precious a shade canopy on a pop-up tent. Features the words “positive solar energy”. I’ve used this to make dog beds, it would also be good for patching outdoor gear like tents or camping chairs. Plenty of other uses too for a creative maker.
- burlap coffee sacks
- scrap fabric that could be used as stuffing/filling for stuffed animals, dog beds, cushions, etc.
- clothing that requires mending… could be mended for reuse or repurposed for the good fabric
