Spare part/broken laptop-all welcome.
Huge ask but thought I'd ask anyway. Does anyone have or know someone with a non functioning macbook pro retina display 15" 2015 (model a1398) that they're parting with? The screen has to be working, so not the cause of it not functioning. If anyone could get me in touch with someone I'd be very grateful (I understand this might be beyond free cycle but it's a good network of people where I don't have one otherwise).
My daughter has just smashed my laptop screen in a tantrum. I've had it for 7 years after receiving it through a grant.
I can't afford a new laptop, plus it has very sentimental files on. I'm thinking I'd be able to replace the screen.
Only tech left in the house is a smartphone and a radio! Shall be picking out a book to get started on in the meantime I think 😂 😭
