Indoor houseplants (Los Angeles)

I would absolutely love to have some indoor plants to bring some much needed life into my apartment. I’ve been struggling with my mental health this year and due to that it’s been kind of hard for me to leave the house and accomplish tasks. I feel like it would help to have something around that challenges me to stay productive because watering will be a task I will have to accomplish regularly as well as provide a visual aid to keep nurturing my space. I guess it’s sort of an odd ask but I figure this could be a simple first step for me on my road to healing.
