I have five long strings of warm white fairy lights (low voltage) that I have now replaced with one very long strong of led lights.
Each string has a section or two with bulbs not working (usually down to just one failed bulb which takes out ten in its section. Previously I have used a sixth set of lights for spares bulbs! If you have the patience to check through the bulbs in an unlit section to discover which one has failed you will make one good set from two, or even four good sets from five (I think there’s about 100 lights on each string- 10 sections of 10 lights each) happy to separate in to three lots of two or let go as one large batch. We used them originally to light marquees for our wedding and have used them on our very large Chris tree since.
