Large, 'clever' jewellery box (Wells, BA5)

I've had this and used it for painting ... I was going to upcycle it because it is has such a great design. You lift the lid and the bottom tray comes out. I love it but realise I will never get round to it. Wondered if anyone has a creative person in the house who could do it justice ? I can leave it out so easy to collect anytime.
