Giving away garnet rack. It will still function for gentle usage (not what was happening in our house). The problem with this rack is that the middle and bottom cross pieces are not screwed in. They simply slide into their slots. I tried to glue it to give it more stability, but that didn’t hold. We did use it successfully for years, but as it became more & more piled with winter jackets, it was no longer functional for us. But that doesn’t mean it can’t work for you in the right circumstances! If you just need a place to hang a few extra things and treat it gently, this rack will be fine. And there was nothing really wrong with the top bar & side poles. They are secured. Our problem was that the lower bar, which we needed, was occasionally falling loose and the bottom slats which I had covered with a board to create a shelf also started to slide out of their groove if the rack was jostled too much. But the top bar will hold & it’s not like the rack is falling over or anything. We just couldn’t maximize it. It does have wheels that work.
