Old Hard Drives for Artist (Near Whipple and El Camino)

Do you have old internal computer hard drives that you don't know what to do with? I want them. I'm an artist that uses the internal parts, magnets, and hardware from old internal disk drives in my artworks, which are made entirely from reclaimed materials. I take them apart, scavenge the parts, and then recycle what's left. Everyone wins.

For security reasons, it is recommended that you wipe, demagnetize, and/or drive a nail through your hard drive first. When I open them up and handle them, it renders them unreadable, but it's better to be safe, than sorry.

For 4 or fewer drives, I'll provide a drop off times and a location near downtown. For 5 or more, I'll come pick them up.

I could also use any other small, cylindrical-ish, shiny hardware/parts that you might have stashed away (bolts, nuts, washers, clamps, sockets, bushings, springs, pins, bearings, gears, threaded adapters, bits, caps, TV mounting hardware, lock cylinders, small tool pieces, etc). Lug-nuts and most auto parts tend to be too big and heavy for my purposes.
