35mm slides (Old Dean GU15)

Strange thing here. I have 16 boxes of 35mm slides taken all around the country by a late uncle in the 60s/70s. Not family photos but cathedrals, castles, country houses zoos etc. I was wondering if there was some one with an interest in them from a photo/history bent? Seems a shame to landfill his work. I was thinking of sending them to the places but guess they would have lots of photos already.
