mobility scooter working or not (Sawtry PE28)

I recently got a small folding caravan that although not very heavy to move it would be far easier if I could make a motorised mover and the thought of adapting an old scooter came to mind. As long as it has the transaxle still in place it does not otherwise work as it should as I would expect to do some modifications for a different use. If there is such a scooter available unwanted and unloved I would give it a new lease of life helping an 82 year old to park his little caravan. John (Sawtry)
