Tapworks water softener (Kenilworth CV8)

Model AD11 water softener, 70cm high complete with water supply connection kit.
NOT working, water softener engineer suggests it requires a new controller board, which are in stock at Tapworks, around £200. Should be a relatively easy DIY fix.
