Wireless printer. (Chatham ME5)

Hi all. My old printer has given up the ghost. It was a printer needing a cable between the printer and the PC. Now that I require a replacement printer I would prefer to go wireless with all the flexibility that comes with it. I prefer Canon printers but will gracefully and gratefully accept any offer. Hoping someone can help.
