This 14" rim decoration is something you can attach to a round lamp shade you have attached to ceiling light. It makes the plain cover nicer looking. There is probably an official name of what these are called, but we can't think of it. lol
The entire item is made of pottery clay and has an appealing rough texture to it and is off white. The colorful design is of the traditional looking Hopi sun face. No cracks, marks, etc.
