Mobile phone, any age, Vodafone (Woodborough Road, NG3)

Hi, has anyone got an old or spare mobile phone please. My friend has lost his phone. He is new to the city and really needs to be able to contact the few people he knows here and have contact with his family. Any age or condition, just as long as it can make calls. Needs to be open to the Vodafone network ideally or open to all networks. He can get a replacement sim from the Vodafone shop so he still has his original number so his family can still get hold of him. Anything is greatfully appreciated. Thanks
