Electric Bike (Project) (Shoreham Beach BN43)

Old Milano Model, gifted to me last summer, would make an interesting project. Frame is heavy and rusty but everything appears to be there. When plugged in, charger and battery both light up. However the ignition key is missing, so unsure if the battery and/or motor are OK. 26 inch wheels, so might provide drive train for a mountain bike conversion which was my original plan, but I don't have time to mess around with it anymore and keen to get it out of the way. It's not rideable in it's current state, but while the tyres are perished and currently flat, they did inflate enough before to push it home if you are local.
