Carrier bags really make a huge difference for our customers and our volunteers who are packing for deliveries. We also are in need of blue latex type gloves for decanting foods, and smaller plastic bottles to decant washing-up liquid and liquid soap and laundry detergent liquid into please.
We'd be so grateful for any carrier bags, plastic bottles and unused blue gloves as the emergency food bank runs entirely on donations and volunteers for everything to help those who are in desperate need. If you find yourself with a few tins / packets of extra food, we'd also love to distribute those also.
The NR2 food bank is in the back of Adat Yeshua Messianic Synagogue, Essex Street, NR2 2BL and we open on Thursdays 10am - 1pm.
