MacBook Air (Gerrards Cross SL9)

This MacBook has been erased and MacOS reinstalled (can't remember the particulars maybe 2014? and Monterey?) so it is working in some ways ... however:
the battery is completely flat and there is no charger with it;
and it has been living in a tropical climate for several years and the salt air may have affected some of its internals so it works well sometimes but then does weird things like scrambling the screen or shutting itself down.

If you are inclined to tinker, or want to try it for something - knowing that it can be unreliable - this may be for you.
