Umbrella when open is about 10 feet by 10 feet. Needs two people to assemble. Once assembled umbrella can be opened or closed by winding the handle. Base must be mounted securely or feet weighted to ensure frame stays upright. Never to be left open in windy conditions. This is heavy and bulky.
