You can close the door and all the buttons work as expected, BUT whenever the door is *open* the turntable rotates.
I checked that it's not microwaving when the door is open, but you should check yourself -- easy to do by putting a container with water in, opening the door and leaving it alone for a minute or two (do not stay near the microwave). If the water is still cold then it's not microwaving. It passed this test for me. You can also tell by the sound that it's not microwaving when the door is open, since that additional sound it makes when microwaving is not there.
So if you don't mind the strange behavior when the door is open it otherwise works fine. This quirk is very likely fixable, but not by me, or just use as is.
NB - this is supplied "as is" and you are responsible to check that it is not microwaving when the door is open and hence safe to operate.
