This machine currently fitted with a serrated blade for ‘pinking’ fabric cuts to prevent fraying. I believe it is possible to purchase alternative ‘smooth’ blades for paper and card.
It applies enormous pressure capable of cutting up to 50 layers of cotton fabric. Primarily was used in the production of fabric samples including shade cards.
